Germany's biggest fossil-gas pipeline operators unveiled new plans for “core” 11,000km hydrogen pipeline network. The government requested project is vying for funding through the private sector with hopes of completion by 2032.
FNB Gas, the association of supra-regional gas transmission companies in charge of shipping gas long-distance across Germany’s 16 states, has been tasked with the ambitious plan to meet the country's renewable H2 production and imports needs.
